Turns out a snow day will help me stay within my overall budget for the month of January :) I needed to hit the grocery store yesterday, but my oldest was home with a stomach bug. I planned to go last night after dh was home, but I had myself convinced I didn't feel well. I feel fine this morning but it is snowing and I don't like to drive in the snow :) So... I emailed dh the short list of must-haves from my grocery list and he'll be picking everything up on his way home from work!
Now we can enjoy a few good romps in the snow today without worrying about driving anywhere! We'll have a bunch of different leftovers for lunch, bake some brownies we have in the freezer from a fundraiser for after snow snacks and have sloppy joes, homemade fries and veges for dinner. Got to love a good snow day!
